Planned Giving
What is a Planned Gift?
Planned gifts are donations of cash, stocks, or other assets pledged during a donor's lifetime and realized by the church after the donor's death. There are a number of ways to leave a legacy gift:
- a bequest in your will
- a gift of stocks or other assets
- beneficiary gifts
- real estate or personal property
- charitable Trust or IRA
