Children & Youth Ministries
Faith Zone
The Faith Zone is St. John’s Workshop Rotation Model of education, which is based on the concepts of the Multiple Intelligence’s theory. All classes study the same Bible Story for one month, with every workshop approaching the story in a different way. Children in K-5 grades participate in the rotations. Sixth and seventh graders meet in their own class in the Youth Room. Faith Zone Registration for 2021-2022 is now open. Click on the link below for a registration form. Fill out one form for each child attending.

Camp Creation
Camp Creation is a summer day camp adventure exploring God's creation. We have visited farms, campsites, parks and other outdoor experiences. Come join the fun!
Confirmation
Eighth graders participate in a weekly class over the course of a year studying the fundamentals of our faith. They participate in two retreats throughout the year. At the conclusion of the year, they profess their faith in worship and then affirm their baptismal vows as they are welcomed as official members of the church.

Senior High Youth Fellowship
The Youth Fellowship meets regularly once a month and participates in a wide variety of activities. Each summer, the group takes a week-long mission trip to a distant destination. Youth nearly always return with new perspectives and memorable experiences.
Church Camp
We are excited to be welcoming guests to all three of our Outdoor Ministry Sites in 2021! We have precautions and safe gathering plans in place for Moon Beach, Pilgrim Center, and Cedar Valley to keep both our guests and our staff as safe as possible. St. John's UCC offers partial scholarships to all campers - contact the church for more details. Please follow the link below for camp schedule, registration and more information.

Youth & Children's Choir
Children of all ages participate in music ministry periodically sharing anthems, special appearances, and a Christmas program.
Family Fellowship events
Special events are held for the entire family such as the Halloween Pumpkin Carving Day.
