Leaving a Legacy
Donating to a charity in your will is such an easy way to give. Leaving a gift to a non-profit in your will costs you nothing but ensures that you can make a positive impact on causes close to your heart for years to come. As you make your plans, please consider adding a gift to St. John’s to support our mission of love and community for generations to come.
Two ways to make your gift known:
Adding to your existing will: Would you like to add a gift to St. Johns UCC to your existing will? You can do this without revising your entire will. This codicil is a legal document that can be added to your existing will. It just needs two witnesses to sign
Creating a new will: “If you need to create or update your will and leave a legacy, the FreeWill tool will create a legally binding will. It is a no charge tool made available by Wisconsin UCC Conference. Fill out on-line, then print the forms to create a printable will. To leave a legacy to St. John’s UCC: under “Charitable Gifts” section of the Will, select “Local Church” and then St. John’s UCC in Monroe.

Our Story
We have been truly blessed to experience the love and acceptance at St. John's United Church of Christ. Our faith has grown through the teachings that we have learned while attending church at St. John's. We felt strongly that we wanted to contribute to the legacy of St. John's so other families may experience that love and acceptance. So when we recently updated our wills we included St. John's in our estate plans. It was quite easy to do. We just made our wishes known to our attorney and he included it in our estate plans. Please join us in supporting the legacy of St. John's United Church of Christ.
